Now really! Are we that behind in our thinking today, that we still bang on that it's perfectly fine to have sex outside of marriage, kids outside of marriage and more than one partner in one night - but to have a significant age gap between you and your partner - well that's just so wrong!! It is if the child is 8yo and the adult is 25yo - but when that child gets old enough to make its own choices - at say - 20yo then it should be acceptable for that person to pursue a relationship with an older person should he/she wish to. Without being attacked and criticised for their choices.

Maybe I'm such a hopeless romantic that nothing seems to matter to me in a relationship other than being able to get along sensibly, have fun, laugh and enjoy the time you spend together.

Is that so wrong?
